The Training and Placement Cell at our institute, Thakur Shyamnarayan Degree College, plays a crucial role in shaping the careers of students pursuing professional courses. We are dedicated to bridging the gap between academic learning and industry expectations by equipping our students with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities necessary to excel in their chosen careers.

Objectives:
- Campus Recruitment:- We organize campus recruitment drives for final-year students, inviting esteemed companies to recruit skilled professionals from our institute.
- Industry Collaboration:- We engage with organizations to understand their hiring needs and facilitate recruitment processes accordingly.
- Career Guidance:- We provide workshops and counseling sessions to raise awareness of diverse career paths, competitive exams, and higher education opportunities.
- Skill Development:- We offer training programs in aptitude, logical reasoning, communication, and soft skills to enhance students' employability.
- Internships and Summer Training:- We assist students in securing valuable internships and summer training for hands-on industry experience.
- Industry-Academia Interface:- We host seminars, guest lectures, and corporate interactions to foster understanding of industry dynamics and expectations.
- Collaborative Learning:- We work with academic departments to facilitate certification programs and workshops that develop job-oriented skills.
Training & Placement Cell Policies
- The Training and Placement Cell serves as a facilitator and advisor for placement-related activities but does not guarantee job placements. Students are encouraged to consult the Training and Placement Department for any queries before registering for industry opportunities.
- Placement information and schedules will be displayed on the T&P Notice Board near the reception. Students are expected to check this board daily. Updates will also be shared via WhatsApp, after which the T&P Department will not be responsible for providing additional information.
- Attendance at training programs organized by the institute is mandatory for students interested in campus placements. Inadequate preparation for interviews may result in temporary suspension from future placement opportunities.
- Once registered for interviews, students are not permitted to withdraw from the process.
- Failure to attend an interview without prior permission from the T&P Office will lead to permanent disqualification from all campus placement activities.
- Additionally, students must participate in all subsequent selection rounds after being shortlisted. Casual or non-serious participation may result in disqualification.
- Lastly, students are required to adhere to the institute’s formal dress code during all campus placement activities.
