Thakur Shyamnarayan Degree College has introduced BA Culinary Arts Courses in Mumbai, located in Maharashtra, India which offers a Degree program which will help students to develop industry relevant skills. The program includes courses like culinary management, business management, food production and technology, and more. It provides a great deal of hands-on experience. Students will be able to gain practical knowledge by working in the kitchen on campus or at off-campus restaurants, catering companies, etc. These courses prepare you to take on any of the five core branches in hospitality - food production, food and beverage service, front office, in-room dining and housekeeping. We begin by introducing our students to the kitchens with a grounding of principles in food production. Next, we proceed to full-scale cooking and culinary experiences in Indian and international cuisines, besides baking and confectioneries. There's a scope to understand the environment better, with product knowledge, food safety, hygiene, culinary math and information technology for kitchens, restaurants and other workplaces. We also prepare our students with essentials of food and beverage service and restaurant and food service operations.Besides basic French, various other international languages for gourmet cuisines, food technology and restaurants will also be taught.

Passed Higher Secondary Education (HSC) or equivalent in any stream Passed diploma in any stream of minimum two years duration from any recognized education board/university
The BA Culinary Arts program at the Thakur Hotel management is an exciting, hands-on program with a focus on preparing graduates for careers in the food industry and excellent program that delivers the technical skills needed to be a Top Chef. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the business side of culinary arts through our co-op placement opportunities and internships. Gain knowledge about the entrepreneurial skills and know how to launch their own food-based business Passed diploma in any stream of minimum two years duration from any recognized education board/university
Our students from BA in Culinary Arts Course would be able to take up operational and supervisory roles in areas related to food production and service. These would also include ventures where such positions lie outside the hospitality industry.
